Indesign: Link to an audio file does not work

Hello

I have created a link to an audio file but when I export to pdf file and do clic on the link nothing happens. Why?

There are a number of things that can go wrong, but first: are you opening the PDF in Adobe Acrobat, or some other viewer (mobile device, browser, third-party app like Foxit, etc.)? Very few PDF viewers other than genuine Acrobat Reader/Pro support advanced features like multimedia.

I am not sure that basic version, which is also quite old, has all the later features such as multimedia, form support, interactive buttons, etc.

 

I'd recommend updating to the current version of (free) Acrobat Reader.

 

What version of InDesign are you using? If it's any current version, Acrobat Pro should come with the subscription/bundle.
