InDesign no Longer works with MacOS 10.13.1

When I open InDesign my files are all now corrupted with lines that are drawn both vertically and horizontally across the page. No text is visible. Not to mention the page itself opens very small to the upper left of the program, making it hard to access. If I select all and copy I can then paste the text in TextEdit, but am no longer able to work within the program itself.

HELP!

Based on all of the other CS4/High Sierra posts here, I'd say no, there's no hope at all.

Roll back your operating system, which is no small task without a full back up available or move to Creative Cloud.

What version of InDesign? CS6 and older is unsupported in the latest Mac OS upgrade.

okay, that's the problem, then, which really sucks! I have CS4, version 6.0. Is there any hope? Both Illustrator and Photoshop still work with the new IOS.

you got illustrator CS4 working fine? there's a bunch of topics on the Illustrator board that would benefit from any information. example:

I would try restoring your InDesign preferences. Here's how:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences

I've moved your post to the InDesign forum.

Try turning off GPU performance in your InDesign preferences.

I tried to open the preferences window but it only comes up blank. I'm not sure how to trash the preferences. Should I ununstall the entire program and reinstall?

Did you try disabling GPU performance?
