Hi , Can anyone help with this issues?

I created a book in InDesign over a year ago. I am on a Mac computer with Big Sur 11.7.4 - It says on the adobe site that Indesign works with this software - but now I am being told Ihave to upgrade? I do not wnat to upgrade as I want Big Sur for specific features . So I cannot access my book from the InDesign app - It offered a "conversion" but I press that and it stays at 0? Is there anyway for me to get access? Thank you

As per the system requirment the latest is surely not compatible with Big Sur. However, the earlier version 19 is supported. You will have to install the version 19. Follow the steps to install it

What version of InDesign are you using? I presume that InDesing was working fine up until recently, and that you tried to install an update to a newer version.

I'm curious where on the Adobe site you see that InDesign is compatible with Big Sur. System requirements for the current version are at https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.html

I'm not a Mac user, but my guess is that your system is probably not able to run anything newer than CS6 or possibly the first one or two Creative Cloud versions.
