Question

indesign not considering ("forgetting") baseline offset settings of text frame

Hello,

I am using version 19.0.1. and have accidently discovered a bug.

Sometimes, when I work on the text in the text frame, so that a part moves to the next frame, it happens that InDesign does not consider or "forgets" the settings of the text frame (baseline options -> offset). This happened very often throughout the whole document.

I am not sure, but it might occur in combination with the text frame option vertical justification -> align: justify.

See attached gif for better understanding what I mean.

It can be localy (only on the current text frame you are working with) solved as follows:
- change the text of the first line of the text frame.
or
- open text frame settings, enable preview, change something so that it has to recalculate.

It seems to me that trying to use both those settings would set one in opposition to the other. Why not stop using the vertical justify?
