InDesign not Exporting Pages to Spreads

Hi all,

I have a document set up as pages that I am trying to export to spreads, but it will only export to pages even though I have selected "spreads" in the export dialogue box.

I have cleared my presets and loaded a custom preset. I have even tried printing to pdf, however the same issue still happens.

The only way I can get it to work is with the two-up option selected which I would prefer not to use as it exprots with the grey separator line down the middle; I just want a clean continuous spread.

This seems to coinside with the latest update. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and has anyone found a solution?

Thank you

You've inadvertently solved my problem! I took a second glance at my page attributes. I have custom page numbering I hadn't unticked the "Allow Shuffle" once I fixed this up, it exported fine.

Thank you 🙂

Try in InDesign: File > Document Setup – tick Facing Pages.

As this will ultimately go to print for a perfect bind, facing pages isn't really an option on this one. However, I did give it a go to see if it would work and I still had the same issue. I have even removed the bleeds etc. It's a 90pg document, so would rather not have to recreate the entire thing from scratch.
