InDesign not exporting to PDF correctly

I'm having an issue with InDesign, I've narrowed it down to be being a problem with this one file but I don't see anyway to find out what is actually corrupt within the document. Is there anyway to accomplish this? If so, how do I go about doing it without rebuilding the document from the ground up?

Thanks!

    Hi,

I got this issue recently in a scripting project and I "fixed" this by changing the PDF version to the latest one (1.4 previously). I guess a graphic was using a spot color combination that the flattener could'nt compute leading to 0kb files. Once we changed the version, the error went away. But of course it could be an issue if you need a PDF 1.4.

I don't know if it's related to a recent CC update.

Do you need spots in your file? If not simply convert the spot to process.

What's the actual problem? What version of InDesign? What OS? How are you making the PDF?

Sorry, the issue is when we export using a preset for High Quality Photos, InDesign creates a PDF file but this file is 0 Bytes and contains no information. Like I said this only happens with this file, we get no errors when exporting. We are using CS5 on a Windows XP SP3 box.

Are you saving the PDF locally or to a newtwork location? Is the background task actually finished?
