Indesign not loading

Hi all,

If and when I quit out of Indesign I then cannot open it, it crashes in my doc before it opens.

I have to unistall it and re-install it. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I have had the same problem for versions 16.0 and 17.4.2 for the most varied machines and systems. Versions prior to those above and 18.5 work. The problem is that I need the versions mentioned.

I solved 17.4.2 by downgrading to 17.4

What OS and version?
What version of InDesign?
How did you install it? Via CC dessktop application or another way?
Happens it to all documents, or only to a distinct one?
Where die you save it? Locally or on a remote server?

Hey Willi,

I'm downloading and unstalling it from creative cloud desktop on my mac, the same as photoshop etc.
Indesign is the only one I'm having issues with. Saving locally

I'm having the same problem. Updated this morning and now the program crashes each time I try to open, whether through a file or through the application window.
