Question

InDesign now crashes on every start since update

I've deleted all cache files, preferences, and application files. I've reinstalled from scratch. I'm running Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1 with an M1 Pro Macbook Pro with 32GB of ram. In order to start InDesign I have to delete my preferences every single time. Has anyone else had this happen? I can't find anything on my end causing this - it started last week BEFORE I updated to the latest InDesign. New InDesign didn't solve the issue (and see above, I've deleted everything and reinstalled). The crash reporter doesn't open, so it's not triggering Adobe. Thoughts?

Hi,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. A similar issue was reported by multiple users using Ventura 13.2 and the issue was resolved after updating to 13.6 so please try that and let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Thanks

Rishabh

You're running an ancient version of Ventura. Update it!

Upgrade Ventura to 13.6.6

Rather do not upgrade to Sonoma...

Check your access right to InDesign's folder(s).
