Indesign opens once, then instantly crashes thereafter

Hi. Hoping someone can help me fast. Just like my Subject line says: I installed Indesign, opened it, opened a file, and then once i quit out of Indesign, it will not open and crashes almost immediately. The icon will bounce one time and the startup  graphic briefly appears on the screen and then it disappears and indesign quits starting up. It happens when i double click the app icon, when i double click an indesign document or when i try to open from the App section of Adobe Cloud. I have uninstalled 3 or 4 times. I have also deactivated all Adobe Fonts. I cannot figure out what to do.

When InDesign begins to behave erratically, consider rebuilding your cache and preferences. Doing so will solve most of these issues, and the link below explains both the keyboard technique (which works most of the time) as well as the more thorough approach to deleting (or renaming) your cache and preferences, which tends to resolve the more stubborn issues not rectified by the keyboard approach.

Thank you for posting this. I'm having the same issue. Adobe definitely needs a fix for this ASAP

Hi! I have the same problem since 3 days, don't know what happen but I can't open it anymore!

I ended up uninstalling the latest version and installing the version before it, and it seems to work okay for the time being....
