InDesign OpenType Inapplicable

Hi,

I just installed Adobe InDesign on a new computer (Windows 10 with 32 RAM) where no matter what font I use, my fonts end up looking something like the attached picture below and I get the message "OpenType Properties are not applicable."  How do I either fix or work around this issue?
