Indesign: problems with new release

Good morning, everyone. In the new InDesign update, I’ve found a few issues: 1) the panels for menus reduced to icons no longer open; 2) if I ungroup elements from a group, they get deselected. Do you know if these problems will be fixed with an update?

Hi @francesco_1297,

Thanks for sharing this. I tested the icon panel functionality on my end using InDesign 21.0 on Windows 11, and it worked fine for me. Could you please try manually resetting your preferences and then test again? Ref: https://adobe.ly/4qZhT2K.

If the issue still persists, try renaming the CEP and UXP folders as follows and relaunch InDesign:

1. Rename the CEP folder to CEP.old

macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe

Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

2. If that doesn’t help, rename the UXP folder to UXP.old

macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe and ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe

For the ungrouping elements issue, please check this thread for more details and updates: https://adobe.ly/4qU4Gbz.

Looking forward to hearing how it goes.
