InDesign Randomly Freezes and Causes Lost Work

Hello,

 

All of a sudden, my Indesign freezes and now I lost I my work. Everything I have done inthe last hours is gone. Thank you Adobe!

What are your versions of InDesign and macOS?

 

Also, during the last hours, did you save your file periodically?

 

How exactly does the loss of work manifest itself? Is the work lost when you open your file? Does InDesign offer any recovery options when you open your file?

 

Also, by any chance, are you running Time Machine or any other incremental backup system?
