InDesign Read Only MAC OS - Network Files

Hi There

Having this strange issue on a Mac OS here.

When opening InDesign Files from the network

  1. First time they Open with a Read Only Error
  2. Then the Second time they open fine
  3. This only happens for InDesign files and other Adobe Suite files open without an issue
  4. Files are stored on a Windows File Server and shared between a Mac and Windows PC.
  5. Doesnt occur with any other files e.g. Word/Excel
  6. Same issue occurs when going File->Open for the File
  7. Adobe Creative Cloud appears to be up to date.

    I've experienced this issue before. Usually happened when opening files directly by double-clicking them in the finder. What happens if you open the files using the File/Open command from InDesign?

    Yea I tried that and it didnt work.
