Hi;

Hello there; I can open the program through Creative Cloud Desktop, but when I run it from the start menu of my computer, the program gives the following error. The program works only when I log in as admin. I deleted the profile files in the Appdata folder under Users (InDesign_Cache =% USERPROFILE% \ AppData \ Local \ Adobe \ InDesign \ InDesign_Preferences =% USERPROFILE% \ AppData \ Roaming \ Adobe \ InDesign) The program does not work although I give admin privileges to all folders related to files and indesign.

Does anyone have an opinion?

Thanks.

  • Open Windows Event Viewer logs from C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\folder.
  • Check the logs for a faulty module path for InDesign
    %programfiles%\Adobe\Adobe InDesign[version] \PMRuntime.dll.
  • Run the app as administrator.
  • Right-click InDesign in the Start menu and select Run as Administrator.
