Indesign scrollbar missing in panels (pages, styles etc) on windows 10

As the title suggests i do not have any scrollbars in my indesign some of my indesign panels. I do have one in for instance the color palette panel. But its missin in the pages panel and that's pretty annoying because im working on a rather large book with lots of pages and styles which i now cant acces unless i undock the panels and stretch them out on a tilted second monitor. See the screenshot below. My pages just run down but there is no way of reaching them. Also the panel is oddly wide and the content not centered.

I use a UHD laptop screen which i also tried all he scaling options on. No succes.

I already deleted the preferences wih the key combo and manually. Nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

Ricky

Can this be marked as the correct answer? (instead of the one above)

Thank you Amal for the correct answer and thanks Bill for giving the good suggestion that deleting caches isn't the same thing as deleting preferences. This was the correct sollution for me:

Delete everything in

DISK:\user\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\Version xx\(language)\caches

You can see it rebuild and hooray.. Scrollbars!

Glad it worked out.

Sorry about earlier post. I guess I shouldn't try looking at screenshots on my phone. Did you try Aman's earlier suggestion about deleting caches? That can be very helpful in fixing interface issues. It is different than just deleting preferences. Follow the link Aman gave you.

It looks to me from your screenshot that you are running an older version of InDesign. Recent upgrades to Windows 10 have already served as a program killer for old versions of  Illustrator. It seems possible that this might be an indication that it is now InDesign's turn. If I'm correct and you are running a pre-CC version then it may now be the time to either upgrade InDesign or roll Back your OS. The only way to guarantee performance from an old app is to run a contemporary OS.

That is not an older version of InDesign, Bill.

I would check the scaling options in the operating system as well as for InDesign. If you can't find anything wrong there, and you have indeed trashed your preferences properly then you may need to uninstall and reinstall InDesign.

Thanks bill but bob is right. Its the newest version of indesign cc.

As voor the hidpi/scaling possibilities. Ive tried everything from setting

scaling to 100% setting everything to hd and attaching a small monitor.

Nothing works.

Ive already done the preferences thing twice.. and reinstalling too. Sadly

this does nothing. Indesign starts again with absent scrollbars in certain

panels and they cant be retrieved.
