InDesign - 'Search for Missing Links in This Folder' Greyed Out

The 'Search for Missing Links in This Folder' diaolgue box has been greyed out for months now. I've been having to painstakingly search for up to a 100 missing links to update instead of selecting the 'Search for Missing Links in This Folder' to find them all in one click. See attached screenshot.

I'm running the newest InDesign and on the most updated Mac software Montery.

Anyone else having this issue???

This is the sort of thing that is often fixed by resetting prefs and deleting the cache. See Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting
