Indesign separations preview breaks up

Does anyone else have issues when turning separations on and off? Everything breaks up. This happens on several of our macs.
Apple seem to blame Adobe. Adobe blame Apple. Same old story.

Hi @davidc51194667 , have you tried deleting your InDesign Caches folder? If that doesn’t work try deleting your preferences. UI glitches can sometimes be caused by corrupted Caches.

I am having a simular problem with seperations preview. Only I loose my tiff previews. Can anyone help.

Hi David,

very annoying indeed.

What's your exact OS X version? What's your version of InDesign?

 

Are you able to see the separations with an exported PDF/X-4 opened in Acrobat Pro DC ?

You say "Apple seem to blame Adobe" and "Adobe blame Apple". Do you have any details?

Provide all system details, also hardware specs, especially graphic card and monitor details.

Like what Uwe asked.  what OS and what version of InDesign are you using?  Myself, I'm using the most recent version of ID and the most up to date MacOS and I can't seem to replicate your issue

Hi David,

can you show some screenshots? Before vs After.

Are you using GPU acceleration with InDesign? Turn it off; turn it on. Does this make a difference?

Attached are before (all separations on) and after (black separation turned off). GPU makes no difference.
