Hi @CassieJayne and @Crabster_Cake,

Thanks for the updates. To help narrow this down further, could you please try the steps in this Adobe troubleshooting guide for Share for Review issues: https://adobe.ly/3Zbn0QA. Try the suggestions there step by step and then update this thread with your results.

Looking forward to your update.

I've also been experiencing the same problem for a few days now. I'm running macOS Tahoe version 26.1 and InDesign version 21.1

I can create new share links, but never able to update content. I get the message "There was an error updating the artifact" every time.

This seems to be an issue with v21.1 — I have only just updated InDesign (from 21.0.2 I think) and as soon as I did, the problems started.

For the time being I'm having to save-as and create a new share link — which defeats the purpose of this feature.

I'm going to have to revert back to a previous ID version... if that doesn't work, I will update here.

I installed version 21.0.2 and 21.0.1 had the same issue.

However, after creating a new review link in version 21.0.1 I am actually able to update content without issue.

So I'll stick with this version for the forseeable future. This feature is so important for my workflow and clients, I can't risk it breaking again.

—Just to add, I am no longer seeing, to the left of the "Update content" button when the doc was last updated.

Normally you'd see something like "Last updated 13 minutes ago". But that's no longer there.

Hello @CassieJayne,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you share more details, like the version of the OS/InDesign installed, if this happens with specific files or when accessing links in a specific browser, along with screenshots of the error message (if any), so we can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for responding @Anubhav M

I'm on Sequoa 15.5 and InDesign 21.1

One time I got an error message about not being able to save the name of the document, but all the other times I just get this never ending spinning wheel:

Hello @CassieJayne,

Thanks for confirming. Could you try switching to a different network connection and temporarily disabling your firewall, antivirus, and VPN (if enabled) to see if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
