InDesign Spanish Language but Links in English on PDF?

I have an InDesign (2025 version) and the document Export setting are in Spanish. However, when I export it to PDF, the links tags and the document root tag are in English, but the Document Properties is in Spanish. See scerenshots attached.

To me, this looks there is a glitch with Adobe. I also tested with a French InDesign, and when exported to Adobe the links and the rood tag is also in English. So, this looks a common probelm with all langauges when exporting the PDF. For some reason adobne adds ENGLISH to the document root tag and links.

Does anyone have seen this issue? Is there any workaround?

This is coming up a lot lately by different users (or the same user - I haven't been keeping track).

Is the Language the pagaraph style set to Spanish, and also in the Character styles and anywhere else you can apply it?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of the issue. I understand how frustrating this can be.

In addition to what our expert has suggested, could you please provide the following information:

1. The exact version of InDesign (2025) you are using.

2. The operating system and version you are working on.

Also, could you let us know if this issue was occurring in previous versions of InDesign as well? If possible, it would be helpful if you could share a sample file with the same issue, so we can better investigate.

In the meantime, I will check with the product team to see if there is a known issue with this behavior.

Hi,
I do not remember if this was happening in previous version.
Also, after setting the language to Spanish to all the Styles (paragraph and character style) now the links are in Spanish.
However, the document root tag is still in English.
Any suggestions or ideas of why the root tag is still in English?
