InDesign stars up, then quits right away.

When opening InDesign, it flashes the startup screen once and then closes again. It will do this everytime you click on the ID icon. No warning message or indication as to why it won't start up. We are running InDesign 2023. No updates as of 10/2. We have restarted the computer and still does not work. The only way to get it to open is to uninstall InDesign and reinstall it. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
