indesign steals all memory and then shuts down

Suddenly while doing my day to day normal work in indesign i get the following popup, and have to do a restart. Anyone have any idea while this would happen, given no changes to how I work?

Sadly, yes. I ordered a new M1 and now I'm feeling slightly less frustrated that it is backordered until January.

    Im not even using an M1 and it still happens...grrr. Very envious youre getting one though 🙂

      This seems to be a macOS Monterey issue and is impacting a lot of CC users, in multiple applications.
