I have seen reports of conflicts with Sequoia 15.6 and versions of Creative Cloud apps which are not up to date. Make sure that you are updated to InDesign 20.5, Illustrator 29.7.1 and Acrobat 25.1.

I'm sorry to hear about the crashes after updating to Sequoia 15.6. Could you confirm the exact versions of InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat you're using? Does the crash occur immediately when you press the spacebar in any file or only with certain documents?
