Indesign Tabbed Document

Question

Hi

I am trying to design a document with tabs on the edge of the paper.

The paper size is A4. I would like to keep the standard size. How can I achieve this? Please see sample attached, where the tabs are within the border to the paper.

Not sure exactly what your question is here.

If these tabs are to stick out from the edge of the page they will need to be die-cut from a larger sheet. One alterenative would be to use an outside margin wide enough to hold the tab information and not have projecting tabs.

For what it's worth, divider tabs are generally printed on heavier stock, and blank pre-cut tabs are available commercially.
