Question

InDesign Template downloads as .ai

I've never downloaded a template from Adobe Stock before, but after downloading a paid/licensed template, I realize I downloaded an .ai file, not Indesign. How that happened is beyond me, but for now we'll say user-error.

I can't figure out how the heck to get CC to download the correct version. I keep choosing Id as the download type, and CC keeps telling me it's saved to my download folder (within CC). However, I can't get it to download to my computer again.

Ready to put a fork in my eye, because I'd like to have this project finished by now.

I'm a long time InDesign and Illustrator user, by the way, and don't need any tutorials on how Id software works.

Well - I just answered my own question:

AStock was showing me templates that are not ID compatible and I bought one (not seeing the tiny note at the bottom that says "file type".

Thanks -

Does anyone know how I can get my money back?
