InDesign to PDF Color shift

I am getting a dramatic color shift from ID to PDF.  I have tried dozens of export settings and it doesn't fix it. I don't remember having a problem like this in the past. All my swatches and document color modes are cmyk. Exporting as High Quality print or Press Quality, but doesn't matter. Convert/preserve to destinations doesn't matter. Include/don't doesn't matter. What's the magic permutation?

The first screenshot is from ID, the second screenshot is from the PDF. I'm at WTF.

Thank you for any help!

Hi there, I seem to be having the same problem with color shifting on export from Indesign to PDF. Did you ever resolve this issue? If so, which steps did you take?

Thanks!

Hi, @kyliec84220669 , Does it happen if you Export to one of the PDF/X presets and view in AcrobatPro’s Output Preview?

What colour setting are you viewing the PDF in Acrobat?
Are you using Acrobat or a 3rd party pdf reader?

And if the separations are ok - then how it viewsin Acrobat is not a concern.

As the colour may well shift from monitor to monitor anyway.

Need a lot more information.

There's a few colour management gurus around who are very good at getting to the root problem very quickly.
