Indesign TOC: Same page heading on several pages to group as one entry on TOC

Hello,

Currently I have page titles setup in an indesign document like so, e.g.

Page title 1

Page title 2

Page title 3

This currently appears in my TOC like this

Page title 1

Page title 2

Page title 3

How can you change this so it appears like this:

Page title 1-3

Many thanks

You can't really (automatically) do the "1-3", but you can do:

First Page Title 1

Next Page Title 4

To do that, you would make a copy of your Page Title paragraph style ('Page Title copy') and apply it to your page title on pages 2 and 3. You'll have the same styling on pages 2 and 3, but the TOC won't hook it.

Or, if having no style applied to those titles (on pages 2 and 3) wouldn't bother you, you can simply click a live insertion point within the title, then right-click and choose Break Link to Style.
