Hi mattr84,

sounds like a known bug with InDesign 15.0.1 ( perhaps also 15.0.0 ) on Mac OS X.

Is fixed now with 15.0.2. Details:

Fixed issues in InDesign

InDesign 2020 (version 15.0.2)

Stability

[macOS only] Undo operation reverts to the last saved document state instead of the last action.

Did you run any script before you noticed this? There are a few scripts out there that trigger this bug – "Undo" takes you back all the way to before that script was run.

AFAIK restarting InDesign is the only cure. (And not using that particular script anymore.)

No, no scripts. I restarted InDesign, made some dummy changes then tried Command Z to check and again, it undid everyting in one go with no redo option.

I have since done an Adobe update so we'll see if that helps.
