Indesign use publish online to publish interactive pdf

I would like to use Adobe Indesign's publish online feature to publish an already created interactive pdf. However I realize I cannot open an interactive pdf in indesign. Does anyone know how I could accomplish this and still keep the interactivity in the pdf. My goal is to share a link to the interactive pdf with my client and still retain control over whether or not they can download/edit it. If any one knows of a way to accomplish this I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance.
