Ansonsten einfach kurz melden. Vielen Dank.

Hi @thomasl87031687

Thanks for sharing the file. i tested and could remove the links from it by saving the file as IDML. So, I would request you to go through a similar thread here as well:

Try it, let me know how it goes for you.

@thomasl87031687

I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to the InDesign forum.

Who created the AI images, in which application, and how were they placed into InDesign?

Also, to confirm: do you mean Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) or AI (Adobe Illustrator)?

Hi @thomasl87031687,

To remove the unused linked AI image from the Links panel in InDesign, would you mind following these steps:

1. Locate the Link in the Links Panel:
Open the Links panel (Window > Links) and find the AI image listed there.

2. Select and Relink or Remove:

-If the image is not used in your document: Simply select the image in the Links panel and press Delete to remove it from the document.

-If you see a red question mark: This indicates a missing link. Select it in the Links panel and choose Relink to assign it to another file, or delete it if it's no longer needed.

3. Save Your File: Ensure you save your document after making these changes.

This will remove the reference from the document and the Links panel. Let me know if you have more questions!

Thanks,

Abhishek Rao
