Indesign window size reset after quitting presentation mode

Hi,

I encounter a new issue with InDesign since the update to version 18.0. While using an external monitor, every time I exit the full-screen presentation mode the window size of the app is reset to that of my laptop screen. This is very uncomfortable as I have to make the window larger again every time I'm done previewing my layout.

 

Is there a solution to this problem?

 

I'm using a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 (OS version 13.0.1) with an external monitor connected via HDMI.

Hi @Advl ,

 

Thank you for reaching out. It looks like the issue has resurfaced, as we logged a bug for this issue some time back, and the problem was suppose to be fixed in this version. Would you mind updating OS & InDesign to the latest version and test again. If it still happens, please share a small video of the issue. We'll try our best to assist you.
