How do I buy InDesign without using Creative Cloud? And, what's the cost? Thanks.

You can purchase InDesign as a standalone product and you can pay per month - or you can pay per year.

https://www.adobe.com/ie/creativecloud/plans.html?filter=design&plan=individual&promoid=TKZTLDFL&mv=other

My pricing is in Euros - yours may look different

When you click Buy Now you will have 3 options

  1. Annual plan - where you get the full use of InDesign for the year - and you pay €24.59 a month.

  2. Annual Plan, prepaid - which costs €294.97 for the entire years use.

  3. Monthly Plan - you can pay €36.89 per month - so if you only need it for a short period you can purchase it for a month only. If you need it again you can always buy the same play for that price.

If the installer is saying you don't have enough space there is almost cerainly something wrong on your system. Have you checked the system requirements? Are you trying to install programs you don't need along with the ones you will be using?

If you want to use the licence of InDesign you have to subscribe to the Creative Cloud or to InDesign. InDesign is at the moment only available as subscription application.

If you mean, that you have to save the files in the cloud and you want to use THAT cloud as a tool and space to work, you are not forced to put content to the cloud. You will not be able to use cloud services, like many fonts or space to save files in the cloud (as you can do now with Illustrator and Photoshop and in ther future other programs might be added). To use the CC Libraries you might need the cloud, but that is one function for CC applications.

You can't. Adobe stopped sales of perpetually licensed software years ago. If you see anything advertised as a one time cost, it's pirated software and most likely loaded with malware.

There are no longer any legitimate offers for Adobe applications that are not subscription based.
