What can i do to fix this error?

InDesign could not package the document 'Skort-Obsession-September 18th Order. indd'. Cannot copy necessary linked file(s)

I can't see what files are missing in InDesign for some reason.

Is this project in a Dropbox or OneDrive folder? If so, turn off any smart sync features so that the files are available locally.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your reply. Yes everything is on dropbox at the moment. I'm not sure where to turn off the smart sync? I was also wondering if I should uncheck "Copy Linked Files" ? It's not showing that any of my files are missing

Are your linked files showing up in the Links Panel? Even if they are showing there could you post a screenshot of the Links Panel? Seeing it might provide a clue as to what is happening.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for reply. Here's a screenshot. They're linked to my DropBox but can't figure out which ones. I have quite a few linked with no errors showing.

Try IDMLing - export as IDML then open and save with a new name.
