InDesign Won't open files

While I was working on to InDesign documents yesterday, they suddenly wouldn't save and I got an error message. InDesign then crashed and now the documents look like this and won't open at all. 

I've tried opening a copy and doing some preliminary disk clearing, but I'm not sure I did it right.
