Question

InDesign won't save files (The File is damaged)

Just downloaded InDesign on my new Macbook Pro Max M2 - 32gb mem - 1TB drive. Nothing will save always get the "InDesign is unable to save your file. We tried, but it appears to be damaged" error.

The funny thing is its just a text file I'm trying to save. I tried with a new document letter with NOTHING done to the file and tried saving and get the exact same error. Program unusable. What can I do to fix this issue? Or do I go back to Microsoft Publisher? HA!

(IMHO) I wouldn't do that if you want to use a professional program.

You did post in the Acrobat forum, not in the InDesign forum. I will move this to the InDesign forum.

A first guest would be that you have a protection issue, as Apple closed the system a little more for rogue programs. That means that you need to allocate permissions to the programs for being usable.
