InDesign wont launch - Sorry, and error occurred

Just created a new InDesign installer package and installed it on a new computer.  I rebooted.

When the regular user logs in they get a Sorry, an error occurred.  Adobe InDeisgn 2022 has encountered a problem and needs to close.

What is the fix for a brand new install?

Try trashing preferences

Adobe InDesign: Rebuilding Preferences and Cache Files

In your screenshot I see that you have a document open in InDesign, maybe the issue is with this document. Try launching InDesign by double clicking on the application icon. Also, try run as admin once.

Hey im not sure what they did, but the user is telling me it works fine now.  Maybe they restarted, maybe they opened up the app first, then registered it (it was a new install) and then the document?  But its working. I think your suggestion is a sound one though, so thank you!
