indl missing error message

Windows 10 / Core i7-3.5 per core / 32 gig ram / IND 18.1

When I start my INDD I'm getting a weird error message after the program has started. It prevents file opening until I click "cancel."

"joe-common.indl" could not be found. Do you want to postpone itss recovery?
Click Yes to recover this document later
Click no to delete recovery data for this document
Click cancel to postpone all document

I did the Adobe panacea of deleting preferences but that did not work. Other than this error message, IND is performing normally. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall, or is there another way of correcting this?

Thanks to those who know more than me,
Joe

.indl files are InDesign Libraries. Do you have such a library? Seems like it should be safe to to answer "no" and the message should go away.

If you had an INDL file open, when you saved and closed it in the past, InDesign tries to open the INDL with that file. If you have moved or renamed or if you have saved on another drive or server, which is not available at the moment, you get this message.

The drive where the libray was crachsed. I moved the library to a new drive. How do I get ID to stop with this error message and know where the file is not located once and for all?

Try saying no to the recovery, then open the library from the new location.
