Inport Text from Excel Doc (LOCKED: Duplicate post)

I have an Excel doc that I am extracting from into InDesign however one of the cells in InDesign is in the Pasteboard area. Text will not inport from Excel into the PB area.

Is there a work around for this?

Why won't this work?

I am using the Data Merge feature of InDesign for this and don't see a override. 

Is there another script out there that will work better if there is no work around?
