I'm looking for a plugin or solution, specifically compatible with InDesign/InCopy to manage and enhance comments: collaboration and client feedback process. Specifically, I need a tool that allows for seamless commenting, annotation extraction, comment collation, and conversion of collated comments into various document formats. If Adobe or the community can recommend such a tool, I would greatly appreciate your insights and guidance.

Have you looked at review workflows? There is the send for review (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW_BAu3jj8o) or alternatively the PDF Review (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/import-pdf-comments.html) workflow.
If you are working with indesign incopy then "Track changes" (https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/tracking-reviewing-changes.html) is also an option but it only works in story editor.

There are other third party review systems like https://www.goproof.net/

I appreciate your response and the valuable information you've provided. I'm also interested in finding out about any plugins that can help notify users when new comments are added to an InDesign document. Is that possible?
