Question

Insertion point jump during file naming

Less of a problem, more of an annoyance. When I'm exporting a file and go to edit the file name, I usually hit the right-arrow key to jump to the end of the name and add on to it. Computer A places the insertion point before the file type, Computer B places after the file type. This started happening randomly (I'm assuming after the OS update; Computer A is Mac OS Mojave, B is Catalina).

Is there an option for where the insertion point jumps to?

Example: Original name is "file.pdf" I want to quickly name it "file_print.pdf" but keep accidentally typing "file.pdf_print"

Heya,

whats your Finder OS-preference for suffixes? Maybe disableing this could solve the problem:

Hmm, I already have this disabled. When I'm in finder it works the way I expect it to. I'm wondering if there's an option in InDesign.
