Interactions not working in preview mode in InDesign

You can have a word or words or an image (such as a button shape) as a document hyperlink to say another page in the Interactive PDF, or to an external website. Some devices, for example, Tablets and Smart Phones, don't have rollover capability – only click – you should avoid multi-action buttons like On Click, On Roll Over, etc. Multi-state objects (MSO) don’t work at all in Interactive PDFs.

Why not describe the steps you are taking to make your button and describe what you are trying to get it to do? Bear in mind most of it will not work on a hand-held smartphone or tablet. Buttons will generally work on a desktop version of Acrobat Pro or Reader.
