Interactive Elements Not Working When Publishing Online

Hi there,

as in the topic I've been trying to publish a document using short videos, that seem to be correctly put on the page, also they're all h.264 kodeq with mp4 format so it should be fine, but once published it won't work online.  Altough it works in Adobe Acrobat.

2 errors show up:

1. on the media panel saying (that's my own translation since I'm using the app in polish): "interactive pdf might not support elements steering the playback of audio and video".

2. This is an error poping next to sharing option saying (again it's my own translation):"Interactive elements, such as buttons, forms, animations, audio, video, MSO objects, and page transitions are currently not supported".

Did anyone came across this?

help! 🙂

The errors you see would be accurate for interactive PDF but the elements you describe should work on Publish Online. Can you give us a link to the Publish Online document?

If I'm reading it correctly, (hence the warnings under point 2) I think he means when the iPDF is somewhere viewed in a browser or through the 'Share' function. In that case the short answer is: it will not work, use Publish Online and a shared version is flat without any interactivity.
