Interactive PDF Hover State Is Sticking InDesign CC

I am having an issue where interactive buttons created in InDesign CC are showing the "hover" state after the mouse has left the button, until you mouse back over it. This creates confusion in navigation, making it difficult for the user to see which button he/she is actually on.

It seems like buttons spaced further apart do not have this issue as much, but it does still happen occasionally. Also, this doesn't happen consistently to any certain buttons or on any certain pages. It seems pretty random.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thanks,

Anna

This issue came up recently, here is the thread with a workaround solution:

Instead of using rollover appearance, use a combination rollover action of show the effect, and rolloff action of hide the effect.

Where are you viewing the PDF? Do you have any overlapping buttons?

i am viewing it in Adobe Acrobat Pro, the latest version. The buttons are not overlapping, and it even does this on buttons that are pretty far apart.

Are these buttons on a master page?
