Hi there,

I have a question, I’ve created an interactive PDF, with buttons that appear and disappear when clicked, etc.
Does anyone have an idea how I could get this to work in a browser, for example?

We want to send it to an audience of older people. These people generally don’t have Adobe Acrobat installed on their computers.
So is there a way to get this working in a browser or in a preview mode?

Thanks in advance!

Beyond Acrobat or Reader on a desktop, there's nothing you can do.

And when it comes to buttons, even in Acrobat, they're wonky. If you can tell us what you're trying to accomplish, we'd be in a better position to help.

Thank you for your reply.
We want to create an interactive PDF with buttons that reveal fillable text fields. The target audience should be able to fill in a textfiel with text and then save the document. The text field should be able to disappear again using another button.

Why would you want to hide the fields after they've been filled in? Why hide them before? What is the end game here for you and for the person filling it in?

None of this is advisable if you can't control the reader application.
