HARDWARE & SOFTWARE

Installed June 25, 2023
InDesign CC23, 18.3
on
New Mac Minis, M1, 2020
16 GB
OS: Ventura 13.4.1

I can provide Acrobat PDF export presets, packaged samples of completed pages and crash reports

NOTES

* Not replicable on demand
* Frequency is average of 2-3 reports per day
* To this point, a restart or two or three resolves the issue (but immensely slows production)
* We are using page templates created from scratch within InDesign CC23
* Not receiving font errors

* Network based; building on local machine, saving to NewsEngin GPS cloud-based app
* Remote users (all on 300mb+ VPN connections, eight cat, two WiFi)
* Office users (10gb connections, all cat)
* Problem cuts across all users, local and remote
* Crashes reported between 2 pm and 11:30 pm

Thanks for your time and input.

To properly diagnose the problem - you would have to start from scratch.

Only one machine - 100% local.

Then slowly expand - first introduce local server then connect from outside - but one user at a time.

What kind of local server? What HDDs? What is between server and outside?
