Invisible object or text during dragging & moving

Most of the time I still use InDesign CS6 where when I drag and move an object or a text frame, I can see a content of the object during moving. But in newer versions of InDesign it is not working like that, I just see a empty bouding box during  moving.

Is this feature?

I still can NOT believe that it is a normal beaviour.

Please, can anybody confirm and explain it to me?

Lukas

FYI, changing that to immediate can have a negative impact on performance. Leave it at delayed and use the click-hold-drag method.

Thanks Rob. I didn't have InDesign in front of me at the time...

If you click the object, and hold it for a few seconds, then drag, you'll see the entire object move.

Alternatively, in Preferences (I think under "Display Performance") you can change an option so it's immediate.
