Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to import text from Word and leave the italics intact without importing all kinds of Word styles? So, i want no Word styles what so ever, only the regular and italic text from that document.

Thanks!

You can limit it to just bold, italics, and bold italics--but not just italics. You would find the options under the Show Import Options when importing the Word files--remove formats but keep local formatting.

Hi Ester,

try the following script by Marc Autret:

RichPaste | Copy and Paste with Minimal Formatting [UPDATE]
