Is there a way to limit your FONT view to preferred language chosen by OS/region.

I have to use Noto Sans; Its required by my work at my University.

Is there a way to limit your font view to preferred language chosen by OS/region. My font menu is a mess of languages and its hard to navigate to choose just Noto Sans.  Try it... really.. Try and Type Not Sans..  I never get the one I type its always one of the other languages.

I then need to roll this solution out via JAMF to EVERY lab computer!  So when a user choose there working language InDesign offer them the right font.

IT'S A MESS RIGHT NOW!

I understand your frustration.

You can submit a request to Adobe to add a preference (not a temporary filter) to filter the font list by specific properties such as name, language etc:

Some users have also requested similar options for years (although not exactly what you need):

Basically, nope. Between Adobe and Microsoft and globalization whether we want/use it or not, we get full sets of fonts for languages most of us will never see, much less use.

The workaround is to Favorite the fonts you use and show that filtered list. It's... imperfect.
