Is there a way to select cells in separate tables?

I am wanting to make a blanket change to cells in a lot of separate tables. Is there a way to select cells that are in different tables in Indesign?

Yeah, like @Steve Werner said - we need way more info.

You can't select things in multiple tables - or cells that aren't next to each other.

But with scripts - you can do pretty much anything.

It appears you want to randomly select cells in multiple tables that have no particular relationship to each other using an InDesign built-in method.

If you can specify the attributes of cells to be selected (e.g, cells filled with yellow), it possibly could be done through scripting.

Which one?

Always the same - like 1st, 3rd or last - or by contents / formatting?
