Isn't there a shortcut to quickly jump to the font type selection field in the control bar?
I feel as if it exists.
Or maybe there could be a snap button?
But Alt+↓ Ctrl+↓ does have some special features.
CTRL + 6 Windows
could be Command 6 on Mac
You can assign your own Keyboard Short Cut if that doesn't suit
