Problem Summary: InDesign 2023 crashes without an error message when attempting to open an IDML file that contains a text frame with a custom bullet character from the "Minion Variable Concept" font.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Adobe InDesign 2023.
- Create a new document.
- Add a text frame to the document.
- Activate the Bullets and Numbering feature by clicking the "Bullets and Points" icon in the control panel.
- Hold the Alt key and click the "Bullets and Points" icon again to open the "Bullets and Numbering" dialogue.
- In the "Bullets and Numbering" dialogue, click "Add" to add a new bullet character.
- Choose the "Minion Variable Concept" font.
- Select the character with GID 104 / Unicode 2022 as the bullet.
- Apply the bullet and close the dialogue.
- Save the document as an IDML file.
- Attempt to open the saved IDML file in InDesign 2023.
Expected Result: The IDML file should open normally without causing any issues.
Actual Result: InDesign crashes immediately upon opening the IDML file, and no error message is displayed.
